Ride On Toys
As soon as a child has outgrown a pram or baby carriage, it seems, there will remain the want to combine the convenience of a vehicle with the authority, now, to determine the destination. A child wants to get in the driver’s seat, to take hold of the rains, so to speak. Or it could be literal, in which case it’s no wonder that ride-on toys are so well-loved. Whether it’s hobby horse, a rocking horse, Little Tykes’ Cozy Coupe, Playskool’s Step Start Walk 'n Ride, tricycles, scooters, or skateboards, ride-on toys can quickly become a toddler’s favorite.
Most ride on toys are intended for wide indoor spaces where the floors are completely flat. Some ride-on toys are hardy enough to be used outdoors on asphalt, or even in the soft or stony grounds of a park or backyard. There are even aquatic ride-on toys, such as inflatable dolphins, or child-sized pedal boats, that can be used in a lake or swimming pool during the summer.
