Blind Man's Buff
Those who want to make a great
noise
will have a chance now.
One player is taken into the middle of the room,
where a handkerchief is tied over his or her
eyes.
He is then turned round three times
and told to catch whom he can.
The other players pass to and fro,
passing as near to him or her as they dare,
while the person who is blindfolded
rushes in all direction,
clutching at those who seem nearest.
When he or she succeeds in catching someone,
He or she must guess who it is,
and if correct, the boy or girl must change
places.
If he or she cannot guess,
He or she must let go and try again.
About Nursery Rhymes
A nursery rhyme is a traditional song or poem taught
to young children, originally in the nursery. Learning
nursery rhymes assists in the development of vocabulary
and in some cases basic counting skills. It also
introduces children to enjoy music. Often actions,
movement or dances are associated with these nursery
rhymes and children songs.
