Ball Toys and Games
Ball toys are simple and portable toys. In themselves, they can be very versatile, and also come in a great variety. They can be hollow, for the air inside to be decompressed as a squeaky toy, or for the compressed air inside to add a 'bouncy' property to the ball. They can be solid balls of a single material, such as gel or rubber stress balls, and marbles that can be made out of glass or stone.
Ball toys can be made out of leather, plastic, rubber, fabric, and can come in all sorts of colors. The hairy rubber Koosh balls, and plastic Puffer balls, take the basic ball toy and get adventurous with texture. In infants or toddlers, ball toys stimulate recognition of shape and texture, as well as the development of motor skills and coordination. In children or young adults and above that age, ball toys can serve as an introduction to ball sports as well. In addition to all of the health benefits of regular physical activity, ball sports also encourage teamwork, self-discipline, competence and competitiveness
